Just thinking I should ask, since I now have a massive backlog of Ask A Ninja, Diggnation, and other video podcasts which I would like to keep, how do you organise your collection? Others must also be in the same situation since podcasting has been about in a big way for over a year now.

Do you keep them in iTunes (I'm starting to find the list view for podcasts inadequate now), use a different App (ie iVideo), or just use Finder folders?

Considering I can just search in iTunes, I'd say keeping them there makes the most sense, honestly. Not sure what any of these other methods would accomplish, exactly.

Don't they disappear when you listen to them and then sync your iPod?

Before I sync, I drag the ones I want to keep to folders I've set up on my external HDD.

With some of the larger video podcasts I burn them to a DVD when I have
enough to fill one.

Choose 'Never' for automatically delete in the podcast options (iirc) to turn this off. You do end up with a long list tho, it would be nice if there was an option to view just the most recent 3 per podcast by default with the others available if required.
