How do you play games without F keys?

I have a Macbook Pro 2015 15". I play Starcraft 2 on it. If there aren't F Keys on the keyboard, it'd be terrible to play it since the F keys are crucial to controls.

For those with touchbars, has it been difficult not being able to play games that rely on F keys?

You can set the touchbar to always show the F-keys, just as you could set previous Macs to treat the F-keys as F-keys by default rather than the other functions. It's either in the keyboard settings or in the touchbar settings.
