I'm saving my movie as a .mov and in the save window where you can adjust the quality slider there is a preview window to the right of the quality slider. How do you preview the quality?? The window is just black, how do I play the movie to see the quality??

I guess you mean "export". Strange, I managed to get to the that window with preview, but I get a black frame as well. My first frame is supposed to be black, as I have fade in from black. In any case, that preview window is too small to really get a feel for the quality. I'd try the good old "trial and error." 
Yah thats what I meant. But ya wanna hear the stupid thing is once I had a still frame in there and I could kinda see the quality change as I moved the slider.
How did you get a frame? Did you change the initial frame of your movie just to accommodate preview?
