What do you do to protect your MBP? I am looking to get the Zagg film and a sleeve. I am just curious what you use.

I don't quite remember the name of my protector, but it is a plastic film that I bought from Frys for like 20 bucks. It works great and definitively protects it from scratches! Also, when I use my MBP I have a silicon keyboard cover! Although I don't close it because it imprints on screen, so If i need to I take it off before I close it.

I have a neopreen sleeve and my Ogio sling has a compartment for my laptop that is well padded!

I close mine a lot because i move about and it tends to leave the imprint of the keys on the screen. Is this normal?

and a incase hardshell from the apple store

I dont do anything really. Got it through apple care for next to nothing so for once I am not babying the hell out of it. Pretty relaxing. :)

I bought a MBP last week and picked up the canvas version of the incase sleeve at the Apple store for $49. This is thicker than the regular incase sleeve and water resistant. At first it is a very tight fit but after a few days it fit like a glove.

Weather resistant =/= water resistant

I have the Speck See Thru Satin Red cover on it. It protects it very nicely. I might get a backpack with a neoprene compartment for the laptop or I might get a neoprene sleeve and then use that sleeve with my current backpack.

because you said that you got applecare for cheap

why mention it if you're just going to change the statement

No I didnt. I got "it" THROUGH apple care for next to nothing. It being the subject at hand, the mbp.

I quite enjoy using my MBP "naked" so I do not have any sort of cover or film that is on the MBP while it is in use.

However, I have a Waterfield Sleevecase for when it is not in use and I can't be happier.

Wrapsol and moshi palmguard/keyboard skin. That's it. I think cases are too bulky from experience.
