How do you protect your stainless steel band from case scratching?

What do you do to protect cases and bumpers from scratching your stainless steel? Put scotch tap on the band? Full body skin? What do you find works best?

Great. How do you cut it? I've tried on the iP4 but it's awkward to cut. Do you do like 4 different sections?

U can probably cut like a 12-inch piece tape it somewhere (hard book, etc), measure how wide u need it, mark it with a pen and use a razor to slice it.
