How do you redeem the 1 Year free Apple +?

I'm new to Apple TV and i just bought the new A12. Apple keeps mentioning the 1 year of Apple + but i looked everywhere and there's no place to redeem the offer.
I have signed into Icloud and itunes and nothing.
Someone said it's on the top right but i don't see anything. I have the new ATV 4K and i can't watch anything. Everything is either free for 7 days or just $4.99.

Pretty sure you just start playing something and it automatically applies it, or at least gives you the option to enable it.
If you open settings then users and accounts and select the user does it give you any options under Subscriptions?

I created a new Apple ID to get the free year. Switching accounts is easy on the ATV. If you want to access Apple shows on your main iTunes account, add both accounts to family sharing and you can watch from your main ID.
