How do you save files and presentations to the I pad

I know you can as my coworkers do it. But I feel like I'm such a nob at this thing? Please point me in the right direction to save pdf docs to the iPad.

Goodreader app should do the trick

Get an app that can read PDFs (I use PDF Expert) and then either email them to yourself or drop them into the app via iTunes.

Or use Dropbox. Very handy especially with Quickoffice and Goodreader.

GoodReader (iOS) plus GoodReader USB (OSX) is a great combination. GoodReader USB allows you to drag and drop files directly from your computer to the GoodReader app in you iPad using the cord (no Internet). It is very fast and convenient.

Of course, you can also move files to GoodReader through iTunes. I just try to avoid the tyranny of tunes whenever I can, so I prefer GoodReader USB.

If you are talking about Powerpoint or Keynote presentations, they can be exported then viewed as PDF files on the iPad. Alternatively, you can view, edit, and present the presentations on your iPad using the Apple application Keynote. That same app will also run on your iPod Touch.

Just open Dropbox on your iPad and mark the files you need offline as favorites, it will then cache them locally.
