Hey there,

Did a search, didn't find anything nice on google or MacRumors...

If I have dual or triple screen wallpapers, you can't tile it on a Mac. So, I need to split the file into several pieces.

Any suggestions on free sites/apps?

I appreciate any suggestions.

Is there an option that lets me see the pixels used, instead of the selection size?

Or even better, does Preview have a splitter option that I'm not finding?

No, but if you zoom out to see the whole image, it's very easy to drag and crop. You can then use Tools > Adjust Size to check the cropped size for accuracy. I'm sure there are apps out there that have custom selection, predefined splitting, etc., but you can do the job in Preview faster than you could research, download, install and use other apps.

Good idea. I just tried it and I get a 1920x1200 selection window, but it comes back as 1915x1195 when I paste it into a new image.

Grr.
