Every time I get or make a Whatsapp video call from my MacBook Air, the camera doesn't activate. And then I find that my iPhone has a message on it asking if I want to activate it or deactivate, and when I choose deactivate it then the MacBook camera activates and I can continue.

This behaviour is really irritating, does anyone know how I stop it please?

Thanks!

Check the iPhone settings in Settings > General > Airplay & Handoff > Continuity Camera.

If that’s on, switch it off and it shouldn’t do that anymore. I think it’s on by default because I don’t remember enabling it on mine yet it’s active.
