The addition of an iPad to my electronic family has created a need to haul my gear around in a bag of some sort. I started using a plastic grocery bag, but obviously that looked silly. I decided to do some shopping around for a classier alternative at the mall this afternoon, and found some nice Fossil messenger bags at Macy's. I knew of a Fossil store in the same mall, and I was amazed at how many men's options they had. I decided on the one pictured below, and it made me curious how others handle their gear situation, so what does everyone use?

FYI, if you plan on getting any Fossil bag at a physical store, they have a new unspoken policy that started this month for matching Macy's promotions. I used my standard retail bluff, claiming I could get 20% off at Macy's with a coupon, and they honored it at the Fossil store! Not a bad move to save an easy $50.

How do you transport your iPad?
No dedicated bag as it lives in a Saddleback Leather case. Sometimes it's transported just in the case. Sometimes it's put into a bag.

no offense but that case is fugly
Subjective.

Fugly IMO but, as I said subjective. Go with what works for you.

I have a Product Red Smart cover on mine and I then put the whole thing inside a neoprene sleeve and then put that inside whichever bag I'm using at the time. I wouldn't buy a specific bag just to put it in.

If man purse is your thing then these are pretty good. A little pricey for me but they seem to get very good reviews all around.

I just carry it in hand. Can't do the man purse thing.

I would do the same, but I transport a work laptop, cords, 2 phones and various file folders. Had no desire to go the briefcase route, so I thought my choice was a nice compromise. I polled several attractive young ladies about my man purse, and most of them thought it was sexy, while another thought it was a little feminine.

Instead of wasting money on a case I bought the latest iPad App.

It's an amazing app that allows my iPad 3 to levitate.

Just before I leave the house, I simply speak instructions to Siri, and my iPad levitates to the desired destination. ;)

I found a couple of bags/pouches that might come in handy for use after I Google search under 'shopping'.

1) http://www.applecases.net/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=98&currency=USD

2) http://cretouch.com/spigen-klasden-levanaus-backpack-series-charcoal-p-2100.html

3) http://www.etsy.com/listing/6351504...oduct&utm_medium=syndication&utm_campaign=GPS

The shoulder bag is decent looking I could say. I personally like the Klasden levanus case from SPIGEN sgp; the Old World Brown Script Bag from Etsy is something my sister would carry her iPad around in. Anyone using either the shoulder bag from Applecases or the bagpack made from Sgp?

My wife was at a ThirtyOne party (bags and purses and other stuff like that) I think she either Won some 31-Bucks or it was cheap enough but she got a bag that is just the right size for the iPad. (and a magazine) and has two inner pockets where I keep a Stylus.

Looks something like this:
