I've given up trying to make the Google File Stream work on my MacBook with High Sierra.

I'd like to completely remove it from my system. I tried dragging the application to the trash, I've tried right click and Move to Trash I've tried option drag to trash. I just get an error which says :-

The item “Google Drive File Stream” can’t be moved to the Trash because it’s open.

Any ideas?

I could always reload a Time Machine Backup as a last resort.

Cheers

Mike
