backups, etc. Never used it and wondering if the 5gb is enough for backups. How often do you back up to icloud and is it better than itunes backups?

it's simple, there is settings for the iCloud, i use it just in case something happens to my phone or my computer it is saved on the iCloud. data usually ranges anywhere from 1gb to 3 gb, and i use alot of pictures and apps.
But I hear restoring back from it is a pain, like slow? Like 4s users restoring to an iphone5? I would like to try to back up to it later this week. Just wanted to know how you guys use it if at all.
well i guess it would depend on your internet speed, if you have a slow connection it would be better if you just backed up to your computer, but it takes the same time as the computer restoring from a back up in my experiences, from a dsl connection and above (about 700kbs+)
