i want to be standing under a massive nuke as it goes off about 600ft above me and get obliterated into x,000,000,000's of pieces, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!

if not that in my sleep:D

"Death By Snu Snu"? :p

One word: 'awesomesauce.'

Everybody would like to go out a hero, I think. Giving their life to save another or something. Personally, I wouldn't mind going in the most spectacular car crash imaginable - like James Dean mixed with Ayrton Senna with a little Lorenzo Bandini for good measure. That's because I'm a car lover though, so having a sweet ride as my coffin also appeals :p

while getting over excited on the job.

Hello dear. Pardon me if I rather hope you don't die at one of those moments. Scarier still, you should hope that I don't die during one of those moments.

Aaaaaaaaaaanyway...

I don't know how I want to die but I know how I wouldn't want to die. Slow painful deaths sound pretty crappy. Something fast and easy sounds nice. Perhaps an anvil falling from the sky, or a piano.

I would not want to die without seeing the person I love before I go. It would be pretty sweet, like having a preview before going to heaven. :)

Echoing some other posters here, slow and painful would suck. Mostly, the painful part would suck. Hopefully I wouldn't feel it. Other than that, whatever happens happens. :p

really my thinking it
1. Something where my body is left intact and pretty
2. Something where there is no trace of my body to be found, so i don't have a retarded corpse.

yeah but who cares what you look like, you're dead!

Closed casket or cremation FTW, dude.

I heard that drowning is a peaceful experience.

Peaceful for everybody else. Nobody can hear your screams as you panic, desperately thrashing around trying unsuccessfully to find air for your starved lungs as the darkness begins to encircle your vision. Your accelerated heart rate peaks before starting to slow and in your desperation, your lungs begin to fill with water. In seconds they are full and any chance of survival is minimal.

Sounds about as peaceful as taking the toaster for a bath, imo.

not saying i want to die, or hope to die or anything, but I just joined the marines and my MOS is M1A1 Tank crewman, so I guess dying in my tank would be cool I guess. Get the whole die for your country thing.

Dying in your tank would be very uncool. Not only is it a horrifyingly painful death, it also means you (or a crewmate) screwed the pooch in getting yourselves killed without permission.

Besides, dying for your country is stupid. Make the other guy die for his. ;)

that is my only major fear in this life, that in driving as a passenger really fast with ********s

I was actually being serious, I've really heard that it's euphoric.

Young, new recruit with pipe dreams of dying a noble death. :(
Seeing how this country treats those who die for it ... I dunno if I'd agree.

Take his word for it.

Me personally, I don't really want to die so I don't give much thought on how I'd like to die. But I do hope I get buried with something to read or something because I bet I'm gonna be bored sitting in that box for eternity.

haha yah i like your point on making the other guy die for his....but nowadays tanks are so tough you really gotta hit em with something hard for them to really get damaged and at that point I'm pretty sure I would be dead on impact.

I guess being starved of oxygen could bring about euphoria, but I'm not sure if it would counterbalance the consuming panic of knowing one is about to die. Either way, I won't be going swimming in my cement shoes any time soon ;)
