just wondering if anyone wears their watch on the underside of their wrist? I.e. instead of the watch face on the knuckle hand side of your wrist, wear it on the palm hand side of your wrist. And would it be detrimental to any of the watch functions ?
Hope that makes some sort of sense.

I get what you mean, wear the watch rotated 180 degrees from where it is normally shown on the wrist. Haven’t tried it yet but have thought about giving it a shot.

If you look at any of the dozen threads from each of the past watch releases, you'll see that the sensors are made for the top of the wrist and you may not get an accurate reading from the bottom. With the ECG addition on the series 4, I'd be leery of trying it other than how it's meant to be used.

[doublepost=1537631050][/doublepost]The reason I asked the question was that if it’s worn on the other side of your wrist, I for one would be more unlikely to damage it.

I have never understood why some people wear watches that way. To me it’s just weird.

I get what you mean, but I don't think that's the position for which Apple engineered their sensors. I'm almost certain you'll end up getting inaccurate heartrate measurements as a result, but I suppose you can try it to see if it works. (Arguably, Apple should have tested for this, since a significant portion of the population wear watches that way.)

My comment doesn’t offer anything than to say my grandfather used to wear his watch this way. They don’t make them like him anymore. Thanks for the memory. :)
