How does a macbook compare to my pc spec

Im in the market for a macbook pro to replace my pc. Ideally I would like to get the base 13" model.

Im just curious how the macbook would perform compared to my pc:
core 2 duo e6420 (2.13ghz)
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb
4gb ram

Does the mobile version of a core 2 perform the same as the desktop version?
How does the 320m graphics card compare to my gts?

I'm sick of using this hackintosh and want a macbook with better or equal performance.

Assuming thats a desktop. Processor is better in the MBP; that 8800GTS is still a decent card; and miles better than the 320M in the 13" MBP.
