I have an Apple Watch series 5 purchased from Hong Kong, and an iPhone XS purchased from Canada. My Apple ID is registered in the USA. And I'm currently (physically) in mainland China.
Per its website, Apple tells me that ECG is available in US, Canada, & Hong Kong. But not mainland China. https://www.apple.com/watchos/feature-availability/#branded-ecg
When I try to set up the ECG feature, it tells me its not available in my region. Is it determining this via GPS? If so, is there a way to get around it since everything else (accounts, where I bought the devices) are in compliance?
