As we all know by now, Apple has discontinued the use of its trademark blue backgrounds. My first response was "Hey! I liked those backgrounds! I didn't wait so long for my first mac just to stare into space!" But, of course, Steve Jobs is not a mind-reader (he's announcing his iMindread with the new Macbooks) and couldn't sense my disappointment. My second thought was "Maybe I can make one of those backgrounds." So, anyways, my question to all of you is, how do you make an apple background that looks like the one that shoud have come with Leopard?

There are probably backgrounds like that in the Apple Wallpapers folder

there are tons of website that teach you how to do it with photoshop.
