Hi All:

Took my 2016 MBP15 into an Apple store in Scottsdale for repair with a bad keyboard and a swollen battery (525 charges 75% life). They shipped it to a repair facility via FedEx Ground (5 days on the road and still not delivered). I am assuming FedEx Ground was used because of the potential fire hazard associated with a swollen battery.

What is the experience of others for swollen battery replacements?

Known faulty batteries can't be shipped via air. Your computer will probably be sent back by air once the battery's been replaced.
