How does aspect ratio correction work on OSX?

I've got old macbook pro 2006 with ati x1600 and osx lion. I launch Warcraft 3 and its 1024x768 is stretched instead of havign square with black bars. In windows i can set aspect ratio correction in drivers option, how to do so in osx?
