I wanted to upgrade my old and trusty 2010 MBA this year, but the new MacBook left out many features that are important to me. So I guess I am waiting for a true retina MBA (if that ever comes). In the meanwhile I will continue chugging along on my 2010 MBA (13"/1.86/4GB RAM/128GB storage).

Has anybody tried to run El Capitan on the 2010 MacBook Air? Just wondering if El Capitan would infuse a new sense of life into my old MBA? Is the 2010 MBA able to take advantage of the under the hood improvements that are supposedly coming with El Capitan?

Talking about new MacBook Air, I highly doubt it is possible for Apple to still release new version of MacBook Air, with upgrades in your mind.
