I’m just back from a 16 day Europe river cruise 6/30 - 7/16 , caught a cold bug there day before leaving, by Saturday 7/19 it became bad.
Urgent care Sunday confirmed I have bronchitis, on meds now.
Comparing my sleep 7/20 to 7/21.
7/20 shows 6hr 12 min sleep, but in reality zero sleep. I was not in bed, but recliner, constantly going to sink to cough up uck . Zero REM.
Totally exhausted Sunday.
Fortunately the meds kicked in and got more sleep, with REM
7/21 Shows 6hr 58 min. But much “more” than 7/20 .
Seems like there’s something missing.
Time asleep is a metric, not the only one, nor the best.
Like a “quality of sleep index” perhaps
Example: in say X hours of total core sleep, with y hrs of REM and Z hrs of deep sleep, you are B on sleep index scale.
Does that exist somewhere?
Surely some sleep institute correlated that data, and could supply it to Apple .
Sidebar: these meds have kicked in, I’m slowly feeling better.
