How does In Store Reservation work

I have been playing around with the Apple Store App on iphone but cant figure out how to reserve a 7 for in store pick up or if it is even available yet.

Anyone know how the procedure works?

I used to do it an hour or two before the store opened on launch day, that seemed to be the only way I was able to. I would like confirmation on that as well though as I'm not too sure how it will be this Friday.

I may be wrong but last I heard they weren't doing any more in store reservations until after launch day other than IUP.

so is it a day of type situation? First thing in the morning make your reservation before store opens

Reservations open again 9/17 IIRC

iPhone 7 Reservations will begin on Sept 17 at 8:00 California time. Ideally iPhone reservations are worse then day 1 pre-orders. Reservations does not 100% guarantee your getting an iPhone. i Reserved a black 6S Plus last year, sold out on Black 128's.

I usually pay for it in full and its waiting for me to pick it up
