You guys are going to have to forgive what might be a dumb question, but how does the performance of Intel's HD 5000 chipset compare to a 3.5 year old NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M (in my case, in a Macbook Pro)?
The only thing I've found is this:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/video_lookup.php?gpu=Intel+HD+5000
I'm not sure if the test is considered to be valid or meaningful. It would seem to indicate that the HD 5000 performs considerably better than the older discrete card, but for all I know there's something I'm missing....
I've searched the web for other comparisons and I've likely missed something obvious that would answer the question for me. If anyone can point me in the right direction, or help me to interpret the above link, I'd really appreciate it!
