Twice already when I head out and back, my watch notifies me that "time to wash" notification. I know it's because of the AI that it has, but how does it really know that you're out and back home?
I guess it just geo-fences your house. Somewhere along the way you told Apple where you live, so it knows you are at home or not. Travel some distance away from home (1/10th or 1/4 mile?). Then when you come back it tells you to wash.
You can probably turn that off if it's annoying.
This might be something Apple just recently added; Yesterday morning my phone buzzed and told me "You left your MBP in a previous location, then spit out my home address. Never seen that before.
Normally this forum ends up costing me money, but I think I just saved however-many-hundreds of dollars an iWatch costs.

That's new with IOS 15. You can manage device alerts, like being left behind in "find my" app. You can configure home or work to be excluded to suppress alerts.
