Hi there

I've recently updated Safari on my fathers computer to 6.1 from version 6. Unfortunately there are some serious issues with the voiceover utility. This also occur in version 7 so Maverick is a big no no too.

Is there any way of downgrading? I suspect not because the problems are being encountered in Google Chrome as well and only occurred in that since upgrading Safari.

I don't have a time machine backup of his computer or clone. I guess I could do a complete reinstall but I'm not certain how I would go about patching to the last version of safari before 6 or how I turn off the annoying update announcement just for Safari, as it will keep asking him to upgrade.

As I have updated my computer and submitted 3 bug reports to Apple, so I can keep track of whether the bugs get fixed, from I am fairly certain they are bugs and not design features.
