Hi.. I have a powermac g4 867mhz that i bought over a year and a half ago and im thinking about buying a first gen 12 inch powerbook.. how does the 12 inch compare to my system.. my g4 has almost 1 gig of ram, too

thanks

I'm also not all that familiar with so-called "Benchmark Tests", but if you dropped both of them off a standard two-story apartment building, my guess is that both would suffer significant damage.

But then, the G4 does have that extra RAM, so...

Thanks.. I can buy a 12 inch powerbook for around 650 but i dont think i will get rid of my g4. thanks a lot for your replies...

I have both and I don't think that you will be disappointed in the PB. I have the RAM almost maxed in the PM and maxed in the PB. The PM is noticeably faster due to increased RAM and better graphics card, but both are quite snappy. There isn't anything I do on one that I can't do on the other.
