How does the 2008 2:53 mbp battery life compare to the original coreduo white MB?

Anyone? With all the amazing refurb prices out there on the 2:53 mbp, I'm trying to gauge if the 2008 umbp machines will give me better battery than my old 1st gen Whitebook does (rto determine if I'd rather sacrifice specs and features for the stronger battery of the 2009 machines - I don't believe that I do, but I'm still trying to get a read on what this really means). I recall that the UMBP battery was less powerful than that of the "classic" MBP, but I'm hooping it will still be stronger than the 1st coreduo white MB's were.
