Why Apple doesn’t produce enough iPhones at launch to avoid long waiting lines?

Or so they have enough iPhones in stock but create a fake demand and release the product in small chunks just to make people anxious ….?

Apple went to sell as many iPhones as possible to make as much profit as possible, they don’t have to create fake demand, there’s plenty of real demand.
