I had the MBP 13'' medio 2018 for a short period of time, when it came out, and used it together with the LG 5K. I ended up returning it due to heavy lagging. I now have the opportunity to pick up a used MBP 13'' medio 2018 (i7). I would love to hear from those of you, who use this (or the medio 2019, which has the same graphic card, as I understand it) with the LG 4K attached.
- how does it work? Any lagging or heating?
- should I consider another monitor than the over-priced ultrafine?
Also: Would anyone know how much of an improvement the medio 2020 MBP 13'' graphic card is? Will it be able to run 5K without lag?
