Recently I went to the Apple Store to look at the M2 MBAs. To me, Midnight looked spectacular. Mostly a satiny/matte dark blue that only looked black from certain angles. But I can't help but wonder what it would look at home under "normal" lighting conditions. I'm thinking if it's going to look more black at home I might just go for Silver.

For those of you that have Midnight, do you see it mostly as blue or black in your use?

I would say mostly black! :)

Its definitely more black than blue at home under normal lighting conditions.

One M2Air at the reseller today and it was allegedly Midnight. Tbh I only saw matte black in it. Lighting, colour perception, dodgy eyes or a combination thereof.

I have one and a Starlight with higher specs coming in. I won't miss midnight. It's a monolith. I miss the contrast of other colors. I don't like the smudges, and it does look like a windows machine.

All about lighting, it is a chameleon, bright lighting will show it is very blue, and normal lighting, much darker.

Thanks folks. Really appreciate you sharing your experiences with this very interesting color MBA! I will take it all into consideration. :)
