I received my unlocked iphone5 and proceeded to restore my stuff off my 4s via iTune into it.

And to be able to use the phone for now, I had cut my old micro sim card down to nano size to make it work.

Now everything is restored and running, but when I check the status of my phone on my Apple's account, the phone still shows as unactivated and no warranty available yet.

My question is how is a new phone recognized as activated? Do I need to setup the iphone 5 as a "NEW PHONE" in order for that to be recognized?

Another question I have is I had purchased Applecare+ with the phone, but the status of it is still "Processing". When will it be applied to my phone?
