Everyone is pointing out the spec bumps with cpu and iGPU on the new rMBP. But as another person pointed out often our speed are bottlenecked by the storage device.
I realize the cpu will be a little faster clock for clock with Haswell, but has anyone been able to compare a Ivy-bridge based rMBP vs Haswell based rMBP to how much faster it feels
I am curious as I want to get my son a laptop(i.e. my 13in rMBP) and trying to decide whether I just get Haswell based laptop for myself vs just older refurb.
