I ordered a 21.5" iMac and I wanted to know what the driver will do with the iMac. Like do they drop it off at the door or do they shove it in the mailbox somehow? What do they do with the iMac?

Drop it off at the door? Is USPS doing it or is it another carrier? If you have delivery confirmation/signature then they will just leave notes.

Apple normally ships FedEx, and they will make you sign for it. I didn't think USPS was an option, unless you ordered it from another reseller, like B&H.

Are you kidding me? Ever had anything larger than your mailbox delivered? They put it on your doorstep, leave it in your rental office if you rent or ask you to come to the depot and pick it up.

Oh, you did the USPS option? Yeah, it's kind of like buying furniture from Ikea - you'll need to built the iMac yourself. Don't worry though - the instructions are pretty thorough. My MBP only took about me six hours or so.

So ... what did you do with those left over parts you had?

Did they saw my iMac up or something? Lmao

I ordered from MacMall, forgotted to mention.

If there is a signature confirmation, then someone will have to sign for it and if not they will leave a note on your door saying they missed you.

If there isn't (or registered, etc), it will sit on your porch.

And all you need is this:

Exactly what I thought. OP - this can't be a serious question?!

That's why I only use minis. They fit in my mail slot quite nicely. My needs have now changed so I'll be getting a new MacBook as soon as I have a wider mailbox slot installed.

Guys, be nice. Maybe this is in fact the first time OP has had a large package delivered to his home/apartment. There's a first time for everything.

As some have already noted, they'll either leave it at your front door (if that's an option) or they'll leave a little note that gives you some information about how to arrange to pick it up or for them to attempt to deliver it again.
