How does the Vega 20 perform in Final Cut Pro X?

I do a lot of work that involves slowing down and interpolating (I think that's the word) the frames together. So a good deal of optical flow retiming in FCP X. On my 2015 15" it just takes ungodly long to process even a few seconds of 720p video. I tried out a 2018 15" 2.2Ghz i7 with the 555X and it was better, but still kinda meh. I hear the Vega 20 is a big jump in performance. Anyone have personal experience?
