I plan on attempting to grab an X Friday and I am on the fence of paying in full, or just doing the monthly thing on my Verizon account. I currently have a 7 plus and an iPad Pro I am paying for on the monthly charges.

So I noticed on Apple Store when setting up that I can choose monthly via Verizon and purchase direct with Apple. how does this work? Do I run a higher risk of missing out on the order if I waste time trying to talk to Verizon via apple servers, etc than just ordering with cash in full?

I talked to a Verizon rep this morning and he said using the Verizon program through the Apple Store app is the same thing. He said some people just prefer to go through Apple has they typically get more stock.

Thanks for the reply and info. Any idea if it causes things to slow down the process? And you think the reps know if we can prequalify? Im paranoid lol

I wouldn't think so. Everyone is in the same boat so there really isn't anything you can do up front. I will have both the Verizon app and Apple store app up and will try both to see which is active first. I wouldn't worry about it though, just be ready to go at midnight.
