I bought my Macbook in September 9 of 2009 and I registered it under my name. I did not buy an additional applecare protection plan or anything. I just sold it last this week and the buyer asked me how the warranty works.I was wondering if I have to do anything to transfer ownership or something?Thanks!

How does the warranty work when selling the Macbook?

The new owner can call AppleCare and give them their info. AppleCare will handle it. The warranty follows the computer, not the owner.
