I am wondering how TM handles multiple users.
Specifically. I am going to clean install 10.5 and then set up my account and one for my wife. That way she can have her own bookmarks, email, docs.
However, I am also setting it so that she has permissions to see/edit my Movies, Music, & Pictures folders, so that we each see the same iTunes and iPhoto libraries with all the same playlists, albums, etc. And when one of us adds a CD, buys a song, imports from the camera, etc., etc., then both of get the same changes. Same with iMovie, we can both access the same video footage and projects from our accounts.
But instead of putting all the data in the shared folder, I will leave it in my Pictures, Music, and Movies folders and point her applications to them.
My question is: will each user need TM enabled, or is it computer wide. I certainly don't want the entire photo and music library backed up twice either, though I wouldn't expect it to be.
