iPod touch How does wifi work on the touch, and how much does it cost?

This may seem like a stupid question but the iphone and touch are advertised as wifi products with all these extra features but what do they really cost extra and is wifi worth it. Can you use the same internet provider as the home based service?

Wifi does not cost money, but you can only use it provided you have or can find a network to connect to.

So if you have a home wireless connection that you are paying for, you can connect to that on the iPod or iPhone.

You could use your internet provider no problem,

you would just need to purchase a Router then put all your Internet Settings into it,
