I'm wondering how Win 7 performs on the Mid 2013 MBAs. What can I expect for battery life, performance, disk memory usage, etc?

I had trouble installing windows 7 from a disk to my 2013 mac air. Ive installed bootcamp dozens of times on dozens of machines and ive never had an issue before. after searching it turns out i found a obscure post by apple stating on the 2013 mac air if your installing windows 7 from a disk the disk player must be plugged into the right usb port and the bootcamp drivers on the left usb port. it cant be switched if your installing with a disk.

this is the strangest thing ive ever heard. but i tried again a second time using the right usb port instead of the left like it said and i had no install issues like I had before. everything went smooth

Yeah, I had that issue, spent some time with Apple support... He found some reference to the solution mentioned above, it worked for me and I posted about it here :)

Windows 7 runs just fine on mine!
