How does Wish List work in App Store

Good morning.

As the title says really. When in the App Store & having pressed the menu icon in the top right corner , it currently says "You do not currently have anything in your wish list"

Is this something I need to switch on & activate. How does this work ?

Click the little box next to it and tap add to wish list.

This only works for paid for apps
