How durable is the PVD coating?

I’m thinking of picking up a gold series 7 tonight but I’m just wondering how peoples previous years models have held up.

I’ve owned the black/graphite models in the past that have had the DLC coating but I know the gold uses a slightly less scratch resistant coating.

If anyone can share their experiences or pictures they would be greatly appreciated.

My gold S4 still looks amazing. I, also, used the Milanese loop quite often with no issues. If gold is what you want, I say go for it!!
