How early do you plan to go to the Apple Store? (Non-Preorder/Store Pickups)

As the topic states, how early do you plan to go to the Apple Store on launch day in hopes of getting that 6 or 6+?

Round to the nearest hour.
If you plan to go at 9:30PM, assume its 10PM.
If you plan to go between 9:00PM to 9:29PM, round to 9PM.

I read some places are not allowing lines to form until 5AM, then again, not all Apple stores are located in malls.

Probably in the 12-3 range. Getting another 6 for someone special, so hopefully it won't be an issue. I bet most people getting the Plus will be there the night before.

I have never preordered for a pick up before. But I am seeing all my patients after 11 on that day. So I will just pick it up on my way to work.
Does anyone know how long they hold the product intended for pixkup?

Gonna get to my store at 6am and see what the situation looks like. If it's absurd, I'm turning around. If it's somewhat of a short line, I'm gonna hop in and hope I can get a 6+

I had the worst issues with Security last year. For our outdoor mall Apple Store (only one within three hours of me...Alabama Probs) the shopping center security decided to say you couldn't line up until 6AM when we got there at 9PM. And then they promptly let people stampede them at 5:15 after we slept in our car an apartment complex over and had been chased off if we got anywhere near the parking lot. I'll be a bit more aggressive at sticking around once more than five people show up around 4. Can only chase so many people off before they give up. I just don't understand how they think a slow trickle of people is less safe than a stampede!

I usually try to make it there around 5AM to 6AM. But, I'm not sure. It's supposed to rain, and I'm damn sure not standing in the rain for a phone.

Quick question: is it possible that the iPhone 6 will be out of stock in Apple Retail stores between September 27 -> October 1 ?

I think they get random supplies throughout the week if I am not mistaken.
