I have an old iphone SE and a new iphone 13 mini. I have taken the sim card out few times with the old iphone SE. I just tested this with the iphone 13 mini as it seems a bit tougher. Thoughts on this?

Now anyone here occasionally switch sim cards from two of their iphones? Do you find it annoying? Do you ever have an issue with something going wrong? I do have that pin that you use to open the sim tray open.

I am asking this because as of now, I want to have a certain sim card on a phone now while the other sim card on the other phone. But later on, switch the sim from each phone later on. Reason being I have more data and a phone plan on one phone but want to continue using this phone until a bit later on.

It’s ok to swap a SIM card into another phone but I wouldn’t want to do it on a regular basis. The tray and card seem too fragile.

I switch back and forth between a Pro and Pro Max with a Verizon sim card all the time with no issues except for having to sign back into certain apps. Whatsapp is biggest offender for me.

I do the same between my 13 Pro Max and 13 mini (Love em both!!!). And yeah, WhatsApp is a pain but only takes a min. I leave my Apple Watch connected to my Pro Max. One thing I do do is sometimes I use the mini and keep the sim in the Max. You can still pick up any calls on the mini even if it doesn't have the sim in. I wish you could use a duplicate sim in both devices. I'd also like to have my Apple Watch connected to both but don't think you can do this either.
