How easy is it to jailbreak an Ipod Touch 3G?

Never have done this before, and I'm a little skeptical about this whole thing. Invested on buying one two weeks ago from Best Buy and I didn't get the warranty on it. Anyway, can I trust myself that I can jailbreak my ipod touch without any problem? I have plenty of tech knowledge, but not when it comes to zip files or whatever it is needed to do this. If anybody has a very easy way of doing this, please let me know so I can make sure I'm doing this the right way. Thanks a bunch!!

There's been tons of threads regarding this. go to http://www.blackra1n.com.
Just download the file. Once it has been downloaded, just run the program. It should be jailbroken after that. It takes 30 seconds. If you do turn it off, don't restore it, but just run the program again.

Yes you can. Just go about it like you usually would.
