Carrier How easy is it to switch from Verizon's website payment plan to the Apple iPhone Payment plan?

I currently am enrolled in the Verizon payment plan for the iPhone X, but I may be interested in switching to the Apple plan and getting the iPhone XS Max later this year. How easy is it to switch from the Verizon plan to the Apple plan? Anybody have any experience with this?

Pay off your existing Verizon IUP and then you can do whatever you want.. If your getting a new phone you’ll either just keep your old one, gift it to someone or sell it...
