There have been many "confirmed" specifications regarding the soon to be released iPhone. On a scale of 0-5 how close do you think analysts are.
Obviously there are many different predictions but most people agree upon
-A5 (some say A6)
-8mp Rear facing camera
-3.5"-4" screen with same resolution
-1800 mah Battery
-Possibly thinner design
-(Hopefully easily distinguishable from iPhone4)

This doesn't accommodate all predictions however it seems close to a lot of the recent ones.

0-5
0-Completely off
5-Dead on

Whoever said the A6 is a fool. The A6 does not exist outside of strict Apple prototype and design and for all we know it could be called the Aweranoutofnumbersohavefunrememberingthisgenerationsname.

Besides that I believe the iPhone 5 will look very similar to the current iP4 with a antenna redesign and bumped up hardware. I also believe it would include the 4inch screen.

I think most of the people who keep up with Macrumors and the info received from other sources are just as well if not better informed for the most part.

Damn...what was the supposed name of apples next gen iOS processor? It's right on the tip of my tongue.

Who ever mentioned it obviously has high hopes but you never know. ;)

This poll is useless. I'm suppose to vote on whether or not the rumored A5 or A6 will happen...yes...I'm voting it will have one or the other. 3.5 to 4.0" screen...yes...I'm voting it will have one or the other or something in-between. A possibly thinner design...yes...I'm voting it's possible...not likely...but possible. I didn't see the rumored invisible model, so I didn't vote with that in mind.

Be more specific with your predicted (rumored) iPhone and then let us vote on that. On second thought...disregard.

I can tell you clearly misinterpreted the post. = /

So you want us to speculate if what the analyst are speculating is correct?
Simply guess. Its not that complicated. Speculating would require atleast some credible infrmation, something that a lot of people don't have. This post wasn't meant to stir up conflict.

I would put 2, the analysts know nothing, but some things are obvious and others are good guesses based on the available rumors, but they are probably still pretty far off.

Completely agreed.

Also, knowing how businesses work also helps. Heck, i'm an analyst, I can make up this bs if i wanted to.

Yeah i voted pretty similarly.

Apple keeping the IPHONE5 under unusually tight raps. Normally by this time Apple throws the press a bone or two intentionally but not this time.
So anything that the analysts have come up with is pure deductive reasoning, speculation or wishful thinking.

You cannot lump the "analysts" all together as a few may well have some accurate insider information and others - the majority I am sure - don't really have a clue.
