HomeKit How far radius triggers the iOS Homekit Geofencing?

Anyone know how far i need to go (in meters) from the "home" before the iOS homekit geofencing is activated?
And also, are there anyway to get a notification or something that shows me that this has been activated?

Hard to tell for sure, but it seems fairly short for me. 100 meters maybe? I can tell when iOS knows I'm home, because I have an automation set to turn on my porch light when I arrive home. It usually does so as I'm about to pull into my drive, or earlier if I'm on a walk.

As far as a notification, I don't know that there is any way to do that except indirectly, such as having a homekit camera set to record when you are NOT home, and then setting a notification for when this status changes.

Someone else may come along with a better solution.
