Hi guys,

I just bought an iPad 12w charger to increase the charging speed of my iPhone 6 Plus as it's kinda slow charging up the larger battery to full capacity using the supplied 5W charger.

From my current calculation, my iPhone 6 Plus charges at the rate of 0.47% per minute.

Would be interesting to compare against others.

Thanks :)

I'm no expert but it should charge at a max rate of 2.1A (12W). However if its above 80% the charging rate is slowed by a hardware regulator of some type. You should be able to get around 80-90% in 90 minutes.

last night, I didn't plug mine in :(, plugged it in about 45 minutes ago, went from 40% to 75%, just turned it off, so it would charge faster, got to leave in 20 minutes for work!
