How fast does your Spore load on 2.0 GHz Alum Macbook

Hi, I have been experiencing some of "slow down" on Macbook especially when loading up the Spore.
I load it up without the cd and when I first installed for couple of days it ran like a champ. Now, when I load it the white boxed sign saying Spore just stays on for about 1 min then goes to black screen for 30 sec then load up.

It was never this slow when it was installed.

Any ideas what is happening? Thank you for your time and advices!
p.s. here is my Macbook's spec
2.0GHz Alum Macbook
2GB ram
Spore running on OS X
When running Spore, nothing is running except Airport connection on.
