How fast is autofocus on ip8 compared to S7/S8?

Did Apple catch up at all the last two years as far as auto focus speed is concerned? Samsung has been using dual pixel phase detection since the S7 came out which is pretty much instant focus.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I believe the S8/Note8 is faster in autofocus. Look at supersaf on youtube where he did the review. He compared the Note8 against the ip8. Note8 won the autofocus.
